The State Duma supported the bill on the protection of the Russian language in the first reading. The main meaning of the bill is Significantly limit the use of Englishisms and foreign words throughout Russia.
After adoption of the bill, it will become impossible to use on signs and windows of such inscriptions as “Coffee”, “Fresh”, “Sale”, “Shop”, “Open” and others.
