Tire changing season is approaching in Krasnoyarsk, and city authorities reminded drivers where they can take old tires for recycling.
The Tat-neft company is ready to accept tires from individuals and legal entities free of charge. The point is located in the Emelyanovsky district on the 15th kilometer of the Krasnoyarsk – Yeniseisk highway, open on weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00. They accept tires from cars and trucks, including studded ones. Industrial, agricultural and all-terrain tires are not suitable.
VtorShina LLC also accepts waste rubber for recycling (under an agreement for organizations). There is also a collection point in the village of Berezovka on Prosveshcheniya, 1A.
Tires cannot be thrown into containers for solid waste – garbage trucks do not pick them up, and illegal storage can result in a fine of up to 400 thousand rubles. Abandoned or buried tires take more than a hundred years to decompose and release toxic substances.
