Act introducing changes in taxes will have to have at least 6-month Vacatio Legis-according to information about the planned amendment to the Tax Code published on the Website of the Prime Minister's office.

On Monday, information about the planned amendment to the Tax Code appeared in the list of legislative and program works of the Council of Ministers.
The purpose of the amendment is to “introduce, as a principle, a requirement to ensure at least a 6-month Vacatio Legis period in tax laws submitted to the Sejm, which results in an increase in burdens for taxpayers and other tax law entities.”
As we read in the information on the CPRM websites, this change is to increase the stability of tax law and provide taxpayers and other tax law entities of the appropriate time to adapt to changes in tax laws.
“The proposed changes constitute the implementation of Pillar VI: +Business support and deregulation +economic plan for 2025 +Poland. A year of breakthrough +, which assumes the elimination of unnecessary administrative procedures, reduction of operating costs and increasing the transparency of the tax system” – states in information (PAP)
