Sanctions protect our state from those who undermine state sovereignty – Der…

The NSDC's decision to impose economic sanctions on oligarchs Igor Kolomoiskyi, Gennadiy Bogolyubov, Konstantin Zhevago, Petro Poroshenko, and Viktor Medvedchuk makes it possible to stop shady financial schemes that have been going on for decades.
“Those systemic processes, which, unfortunately, lasted for decades, can finally be stopped. Financial flows are now systematically checked at the all-Ukrainian level” – stated the head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, Philip Pronin, commenting on the decision of the National Security Council, which imposed sanctions.
State Finance Monitoring was a participant in the NSDC meeting, as it works together with law enforcement officers to identify shady financial schemes. And just the latest developments concerned those who cooperated with Russia, built schemes for embezzlement of state funds, undermined the work of the banking system.
“Our state must be protected from all those who undermine state sovereignty. This also applies to oligarchs, deputies, and officials who use power in their own interests,” Pronin believes. And the systematic fight against embezzlement and money laundering will allow to stop negative processes.
