The documentary “After Cioate”, made by Mihail Gavril Dragolea and Radu Constantin Mocanu, will be designed at the Peasant Museum, within the One World Romania festival. The event will take place on Thursday, April 10, 7:00 pm.

After the projection of the film will be a discussion between the directors and the investigative journalist Alex Nedea de la Recorder, along with Tiberiu Boșutar, deputy gold. Boșutar plays a central role in the documentary, who is an environmental activist during the period presented in the film.

The documentary should have been based on the experiences of locals claiming irregularities in the forestry in Romania. They transmitted live from forests in protest. During the course, the film acquired a subjective way, according to a press release sent by the manufacturers communication team.

In September 2021, the director and journalist Mihai Dragolea, who filmed for this documentary about the illegal forest cuts in Romania, was beaten by 20 individuals in a forest in Coșna commune (Suceava county). The equipment and all the records were destroyed.

Next to him were another colleague and Tiberiu Bosutar.

The Romanian documentary “After Cioate”/ “Tooth and Nail”, produced by Manii Gavril Dragolea and Radu Mocanu, was selected in the International Competition of the Film Festival in Cracovia (May 26-June-2), one of the most important European cinematic events dedicated to the documentary film.

The production was selected in the official competition of the Cracovia Film Festival.
