Rosneft continues to implement a large -scale program to support the indigenous peoples of the North. With the participation of the “East Siberian Oil and Gas Company” (VSNK), the Siberian Federal University developed and presented the online course “Evenki Language and Culture”.
The educational program is primarily intended for schoolchildren from remote settlements and boarding schools of the Evenki municipal district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The course is designed not only to teach the basics of the Evenki language, but also to introduce students to the rich culture and the traditional life of the people, contributing to the preservation and popularization of a unique heritage.
The course consists of 18 interactive modules, it allows each student to master the material at an individual pace and with a personalized approach. The developers have provided a weekly monitoring system that allows you to quickly identify and eliminate possible knowledge gaps.
The effectiveness of the online program was checked in the Baykitsky secondary school, where scientists held a series of lessons, lectures and career guidance for students in grades 4-11. Already at the beginning of the school year, everyone will be able to begin the study of the Evenki language and culture.
Rosneft has repeatedly emphasized that the preservation of the originality of the indigenous peoples of the North is the priority area of the company's social policy. Thanks to the support of oil workers, projects are implemented aimed at maintaining linguistic and cultural heritage, as well as creating conditions for sustainable development of indigenous communities.
Thus, in the Evenki district of the VSNK has supported educational and cultural initiatives since 2014. Previously, a textbook on the study of the culture and language of the Keto people, which is successfully used in schools, was developed here. The electronic Evenki-Russian dictionary of “eeda-ray Turkruk”, a collection of works of Evenki masters and the unique alphabet “Evenkia: from A to Z”, created by children from the village of Baikit, were also released.
