Several 100 euros banknotes, which are suspected of being counterfeit, were discovered by police at the home of a 15-year-old teenager from a commune in Vrancea county.

Several searches were organized in Vrancea and Bacău counties, in a criminal case instrumented by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Adjud Court, which concerns persons investigated for putting inception of forged values.
Investigators have established that some of the banknotes would have already been put into circulation in the municipality of Adjud and in the neighboring localities.
Following the searches, in the house of a young man from Rugineşti commune, Vrancea county, several banknotes were discovered to be false.
“Four warrants were executed in Vrancea and Bacău counties and a home search warrant in Rugineşti commune. Following the activities, the police discovered at the home of a 15 -year -old banknotes of 100 euros, some of them already being placed on the market, in the municipality of Adjud and in the neighboring localities“, said IPJ Vrancea.
The banknotes were raised to be expected, after the analyzes performed to be established their authenticity.
The investigations are ongoing, under the coordination of the prosecutors, to document the entire criminal activity.
