“Chumak’s cucumbers” for the winter is a way to preserve fresh vegetables and make them crispy even in the cold season. This recipe combines cucumbers with carrots and garlic, which creates a rich aroma and pleasant taste. Such cucumbers can be served both on the daily table and to festive dishes, ”the site says.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg of cucumbers;
  • 120 g of carrots;
  • two heads of garlic;
  • three bay leaves;
  • 30 peas of black pepper;
  • 30 peas of fragrant pepper;
  • 4.5 tsp. salts;
  • 9 tsp. Sahara;
  • 150 ml of vinegar.

Cooking

  1. Soak the cucumbers in cold water for two to three hours.
  2. Put the bay leaf on the bottom of each jar, two or three peas of black and fragrant pepper, a clove of garlic and a few chopped carrot circles.
  3. Fold the cucumbers tightly in jars and pour boiling water.
  4. Pour 1 tsp to banks each. salt, 1 tsp. sugar and add 1 tbsp. l. vinegar.
  5. Put a towel on the bottom of the pan, put jars on it, pour hot water and sterilize for 9-10 minutes from the date of boiling.
  6. Remove the jars, tightly tighten the lids and cover with the blanket until complete cooling.
