“Chumak’s cucumbers” for the winter is a way to preserve fresh vegetables and make them crispy even in the cold season. This recipe combines cucumbers with carrots and garlic, which creates a rich aroma and pleasant taste. Such cucumbers can be served both on the daily table and to festive dishes, ”the site says.
Ingredients:
- 2 kg of cucumbers;
- 120 g of carrots;
- two heads of garlic;
- three bay leaves;
- 30 peas of black pepper;
- 30 peas of fragrant pepper;
- 4.5 tsp. salts;
- 9 tsp. Sahara;
- 150 ml of vinegar.
Cooking
- Soak the cucumbers in cold water for two to three hours.
- Put the bay leaf on the bottom of each jar, two or three peas of black and fragrant pepper, a clove of garlic and a few chopped carrot circles.
- Fold the cucumbers tightly in jars and pour boiling water.
- Pour 1 tsp to banks each. salt, 1 tsp. sugar and add 1 tbsp. l. vinegar.
- Put a towel on the bottom of the pan, put jars on it, pour hot water and sterilize for 9-10 minutes from the date of boiling.
- Remove the jars, tightly tighten the lids and cover with the blanket until complete cooling.
