Michelle Obama comes for the first time in Romania and will participate in Impact Bucharest on Thursday, business and technology event that takes place on September 17 and 18.

The former first-lady of the United States will get on stage on the second day of the conference, on Thursday, September 18, from 4 pm, and will have an hour's dialogue with Beatrice Cornacchia, executive vice-president, responsible for marketing and communication of MasterCard in the Asia-Pacific area, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The wife of former President Barack Obama, who drove the US from 2009 to 2017, can be listened to on Impact Stage, at Impact Bucharest. She will talk about her professional path, but also about her childhood in Chicago, according to the organizers.

Along with Michelle Obama, former performance athletes, such as Simona Halep and Horia Tecău, participate in the conference.

Impact is an event started in 2016, in Poland, who brings together businessmen, politicians, researchers, athletes and artists. At the event in Bucharest, reached the second edition, about 2,000 participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Albania or Poland are expected.

The price of a ticket to this event started from 350 euros, for the pre-Sale and reached 600 euros in the week before the event.

Michelle Obama won a Grammy for her book

Michelle Obama is the author of two Bestseller books – “The Light We Carry” and “Becoming”, producing programs and podcasts and motivational speaker. Its autobiography, “Becoming”, which presents its way to the White House, was over 130 weeks on the list of New York Times bestsellers, sold over 17 million copies worldwide and won a Grammy award.

He was born and childhood in South Side, Chicago. In 1989 he met Barack Obama at a law firm, where he was employed after graduating the Harvard Law Faculty.

As an author, she relates about her experiences as a wife, mother and woman of color and is known for her activities to promote human rights and to combat racism in the United States.

Michelle Obama is also the founder of a foundation that supports the education and emancipation of adolescents around the world – Girls Opportunity Alliance (Goa).
