Start in the election campaign of the Republic of Moldova. President's message Maia Sandu – Video

The President Maia Sandu urged all citizens of the Republic of Moldova to “do not be attracted into dirty schemes” of electoral corruption and to “inform correctly” from official sources, in a message that transmitted on Friday, when the election campaign for Crucial Legislative Ilections on September 28 began, News.ro reports.
“To notify the police when you witness the electoral corruption, to pay attention to all the information, the letters, the calls, the false videos with which we will be intoxicated in the next period, to help the relatives and friends to inform themselves correctly, to keep ourselves united and righteous for Moldova to come out,” and the head of the state, Moscow frequently is mixed in the country's domestic politics, fueling pro-Russian feelings in a subversive campaign meant to overthrow the government, because of its pro-European orientation.
President Maia Sandu declared at the end of July, after a meeting of the Supreme Security Council, that Russia wants to control the Republic of Moldova taking advantage of the autumn elections and prepares an unprecedented interference in the September 28 poll.
Subsequently, at the beginning of August, the pro-Russian fugitive oligarh, convicted in Moldova and refugee in Moscow, offered Moldovans monthly payments of $ 3,000 to join some anti-government protests, in an attempt to undermine the pro-European government of Moldova before parliamentary elections. The General Police Inspectorate warned that “participation in protests for payment promises is a serious violation of the law” and urged citizens not to fall into such a trap, because they risk being prosecuted.
“The fate of Moldova itself is at stake”
On Friday, the election campaign for the parliamentary elections began officially and, on this occasion, President Maia Sandu addressed a message to both electoral and citizens.
“On September 28, Moldova will choose its Parliament for the next four years, the institution in which our country will decide from now.
The president warned that democracy is subject to increasingly intense attacks from foreign forces, who, with “dirty money”, want to buy votes and set up destabilization actions: “We see how people who work open for Russia, not for Moldova, act to destroy the correctness of the elections and to undermine our future,” act “strictly in national interest” and “to serve only the citizens of the Republic of Moldova”.
The president of the country appealed to unity and courage: “Let us keep ourselves united and righteous for Moldova to come out victorious. Be brave, not to be scared of their threats. I trust Moldovans and our wisdom to defend our freedom and future,” she said.
Maia Sandu recalled that, last fall, Moldovans voted to introduce the objective of accession to the European Union in the Constitution. According to the head of state, the elections of September 28 represent “the country's chance to enter the European family of peace and development”. “We have a duty not to lose this chance,” she pointed out, after receiving Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz and Donald Tusk on Wednesday, who sent pro-European messages.
