He also noted that, regardless of this, Russia retained the possibilities of developing new types of weapons within its own arms industry sector, mainly because most enterprises were not closed after the collapse of the USSR and produced weapons for foreign clients.
After 2014, in Russia, also near the border with Ukraine, storage and mobilization bases were created, where military equipment was collected for the needs of future warfare. There were tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored transporters, artillery systems and other mechanized equipment that was renovated or modernized, and then used for action during full -way aggression against Ukraine.
– Modernization and renovation are thousands of weapons that Russia uses. But we also have data that indicate the ability to produce new types. Speaking of aircraft, this year it is to be 57 pieces.
