Orlen has a new director. This is former policeman Michał Domaradzki

Michał Domaradzki replaced Rafał Batkowski – former chief of police in Masovia and Greater Poland. According to information from RMF FM, there is a change in the position of director of Orlen's control and security area is related to Paweł Wojtunik joining the company's management board — former CBŚP policeman and head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau.
In the past, Wojtunik was, among others, head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA). At Orlen, the former policeman is responsible for matters related to safety and risk. The company emphasized that Wojtunik has many years of experience in the area of security and management of institutions of strategic importance for the state.

RMF FM's interlocutors emphasized that replacing Batkowski with Domaradzki was dictated by the desire to employ “a person with more practical experience” in this position.

Domaradzki has held a similar position as director at PGE for two years. RMF FM reminds that in 2022, Domaradzki was detained by the CBA because – according to investigators – he allegedly encouraged prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek to reveal information from the proceedings. Two years later, the prosecutor's office legally discontinued the investigation into this case.
