The bank will begin to implement the initiative immediately after making the relevant decisions.
According to VTB, the expansion of the Far Eastern mortgage program will make it even more socially oriented and solve the housing issues of a larger number of Far East.
“VTB sees significant potential in the expansion of the Far Eastern mortgage to solve important social tasks of the region. Today, more than 160 thousand* large families live here, for which this program can be a real chance to improve housing conditions, ”said Alexander Pakhomov, Deputy Presidential Department of the Board of VTB as part of the VEF-2025.“ We also consider it important to focus on supporting the field of education. Attraction and retention of qualified personnel is the key to a successful future region. ”
The Far Eastern and Arctic mortgages are in high demand among the inhabitants of the Far East. Since the launch of the program, VTB allocated more than 100 billion rubles to finance the purchase of real estate, which allowed more than 22 thousand families to find their own housing. In 2025 alone, with the active participation of VTB, borrowers purchased more than 210 thousand square meters of housing under the program. The average mortgage loan this year is about 5 million rubles (for comparison, in 2019 – 3.5 million rubles).
“The low interest rate on the program allows customers to comfortably plan their budget and send the vacant funds for other important goals, including long -term financial planning. And for tens of thousands of people in the region today, future goals have become closer, ”added Alexander Pakhomov.
