In the Yenisei district, it was possible to save two elderly men who got lost in the taiga. Friends of 68 and 86 years disappeared on September 24, when they went for mushrooms in the vicinity of the village of Ust-Tunguska.
According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers immediately joined the search, professional rescuers and volunteers of the Lisaalet detachment. The operation lasted more than a day – men were discovered a few kilometers from entering the forest.
According to the rescued, they could not find the reverse path and specially reached the swampy area to make it easier to detect. Pensioners were not required for pensioners.
Mushroom pickers promised rescuers in the future to follow the safety rules when visiting the forest and not to go far to the taiga.
