Muts out of astonishment. The reaction of some Japanese journalists after a train passed by them with 500 km/h

The Japanese train with magnetic levitation (Maglev) has reached a record speed of 500 km/h, attracting the attention of the whole world and leaving reporters visibly amazed.

The video images from the demonstration, broadly broadcast on the social networks, showed how the journalists gathered were left without a speechless, as the train passed through them in the fog, writes International Business Times.
At 500 km per hour, the Maglev train is up to 10 times faster than the average real speed of an ordinary passenger train in Romania. For example, the train trip between Bucharest and Cluj, over a distance of about 450 km, lasts between 8 and 10 hours. With the necessary infrastructure, a maglev train could travel the distance in an hour. Even taking into account the highest possible speed on the railway infrastructure in Romania (160 km/h), it is also more than 3 times faster.
The comparison relates the debate on long -term investments in railway technology.
The technology behind the train
A maglev train works without wheels, using strong magnets to lift and propel the train above its guide, eliminating friction and allowing higher speeds.
According to Japan Rail Pass (JRP), the tests have been underway as part of the Chūō Shinkansen project, which aims to launch a commercial service between Tokyo and Nagoya.
