Tuesday night's meeting was concluded with an agreement on the main topics, political sources said for Hotnews. On Wednesday, a new discussion takes place, but only the fiscal technical group, without major changes expected. Package 2 with fiscal measures then will be put into decision -making transparency and adopted in the Government. Friday – or at the latest on Monday or Tuesday next week – Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is about to take responsibility in the Parliament.

The leaders of the coalition have agreed that the personnel discounts in the town halls, prefectures and county councils should be made according to the number of inhabitants, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), not from the last census, according to the sources consulted by HotNews.

Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna had announced that 40,000 positions will be abolished. Basically, about 20% of the positions must be reduced, according to the decision taken in the coalition. Details about the measures announced for the local public administration here.

Although the meeting took place just hours after the magistrates announced that they protest against the project that modifies their pensions, at the Coalition meeting the subject was not addressed at all, say HotNews political sources.

The discussions on this subject were concluded on Monday, when the coalition established that the changes will be applied as provided by the project put in public debate, but with a single modification: with transient measures of 10 years, ie from 2036.

On the other hand, Digi24 writes, citing also political sources, that it was decided that the pensions of the magistrates be capped at 75% of the last net income collected, and the transit period to the 65 -year retirement age.

Board of Directors will be reduced from the next term

The subject on corporate governance was also closed within the coalition. The final decision is, from the following mandates, the Board of Directors (CA) who now have 7 members to have a 5. those who now have 5 members will have 3. Sources from the coalition have explained for Hotnews that the current mandates cannot be modified.

In addition, it was agreed to coalition and reduction of allowances. Details about reducing the allowances in CAs, here.

The meeting lasted about three hours. But he started later than he was scheduled, after Nicușor Dan went to the Government, where he stayed 30 minutes and discussed with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and interim president Sorin Grindeanu.

On Wednesday there will be a new discussion in the coalition, this time only in the fiscal technical group, so that all the parties will give their final agreement on the second package of fiscal measures.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan should take responsibility in Parliament on the second package of tax measures on Friday or at the latest next week, Monday or Tuesday.
