The National Meteorological Administration has issued a yellow code type warning for the following hours. Temperatures continue to rise.

According to ANM, between 02.09.2025, 12:00-02.09.2025, 9:00 pm, the weather will be warm, the thermal discomfort will be high, and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units. The sky will be variable, and the wind will be weak and moderate.

The maximum temperature will be 34 … 35 degrees.

Since Wednesday morning, ANM has issued another yellow code. And temperatures increase. Between 03.09.2025, at 09:00-03.09.2025, 21:00, the weather will be hot, with high thermal discomfort, and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units. The sky will be more clear, and the wind will be weak and moderate.

The maximum temperature will be 35 … 37 degrees.

South of the country, under the yellow code

On Tuesday (September 2) in Banat, in the south of Oltenia and Moldova, in the south, center and east of Muntenia and in continental Dobrogea there will be particularly high temperatures and thermal discomfort, and the temperature-moisture index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units locally. The maximum temperatures will be between 33 and 35 degrees.

On Wednesday, September 3, the area targeted by the yellow code moves to the southeast, but also to the center. On Wednesday (September 3) in Oltenia, in Muntenia, in the south of Moldova and in the continental Dobrogea there will be particularly high temperatures, local heat and thermal discomfort, and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units. The maximum temperatures will be between 33 and 35 degrees, higher isolated in the south of Muntenia, to 36 … 37 degrees.
