The testimony of the first wife of the criminal in Cosmopolis: “I threatened. I thought I was following”

The ex-wife of the man who mortally shot Teodora on Saturday in the Cosmopolis complex in Ilfov, spoke to Antena 3 about the relationship with him.
The woman, who is a psychiatrist in Iasi, confessed that she was always afraid of her ex-husband who abused her physically and mentally for several years. She says that she met the man in 1995-1996, and their relationship rapidly evolved to extreme possessivity and psychological control.
“There were about ten episodes of violence in 12 years. It was still a palm, quite strong. After each episode, he was apologizing and trying to minimize:” This is not a beating. “He is when you arrive at the hospital,” said the man's ex -wife at Antena 3.
She also said that she was much more scared of psychological pressure, the “things on the border of the law” she did and the threats with death.
The psychiatrist says he tried several times to leave the relationship, but every time the man resorted to threats, including death, and to show him that he did not joke to kill the cats: “He threatened to kill me and my family. He told me how he will.”
The woman also said that their relationship broke when she entered college and after an attempt by the man to poison. Then, after many years, she met the man in her psychiatry office, where she was scheduled for a consultation.
“My brother sent me the link in which he wrote he was looking for. I proposed that the next day, on Sunday, I would go to the police, if they didn't catch him. I thought I was following,” she said.
The case of crime in Cosmopolis
Teodora, a 23 -year -old pregnant in 6 months, died on Saturday night at the hospital, after being shot in her chest by her ex -boyfriend, who threatened her and harassed her since 2021. The young woman was shot under the eyes of some children, one of them being her 3 -year -old daughter.
On Sunday, IPJ Ilfov representatives announced that the author's author did not live in Cosmopolis, but had come from Bacău a few hours before to find the young woman.
The gun with which Robert “Wolf” killed his former partner on Saturday was stolen from Italy in July 2022, according to sources in the investigation quoted by Digi24 and G4media.
After shooting the young woman, the man became unseen. Then followed an extensive police operation to detect the man, who committed suicide in the complex.
“We are tired of empty words”
Several thousand people gathered on Tuesday evening in Victoriei Square to manifest violence against women, after the Cosmopolis crime, and to ask the Government additional measures to protect women. “We are tired of empty words”, “All over the police, anywhere justice”, “indifference nourishes violence” and “hundreds of women are dead, this is not right”-were some of the messages shouted by the protesters before the Government.
The appeal to Prostest came after the case of Theodora. “Violence against women is insufficiently sanctioned, tolerated by those who should protect us and then transformed into a victim's blamed context,” the demonstration organizers said.
