The Romanian Patriarchate calls on all the dioceses to strictly respect the canonical discipline in situations in which the clergy commit serious deviations from the moral conduct and the ecclesial life, the Romanian Orthodox Church shows in a statement, according to Agerpres.
“In situations in which there are concrete evidence of serious deviations, the sanctions provided by the Holy Canons, the statutory and regulatory provisions in force must be applied with speed”, emphasizes the Romanian Patriarchate.
