The Al-Akhdoud team will have a new coach until the end of the season. The Romanian Marius Șumudica will take over the technical leadership in an attempt to stop the poor series of results.
The club's decision comes after replacing the Portuguese Paulo Sergio, as a result of the disappointing developments in the first part of the championship. Currently, Al-Akhdoud is in the penultimate place in the standings, with very few points, after several defeats and draws that complicated the situation of the group.

The team quickly entered the dangerous zone of the ranking, being threatened with relegation. The change of coach is seen as a chance to breathe new life and revive the morale of the players.
