Doctors who work in hospitals will be obliged to grant, during the work schedule, consultations in the integrated ambulatory, where patients can be consulted in polyclinic regime, for at least one hour/day on average per month, related to a 35 -hour program. For those who do not comply with the rule, the Ministry of Health has also prepared sanctions: Warning written at the first finding and a fine of 20,000 lei starting with the second finding.

For the doctors who work in the hospital for a work schedule representing a time fraction, the minimum program for consultations in the integrated ambulatory is reduced properly, it is also specified in the GEO project.

The measure is included in a draft emergency ordinance published by the Ministry of Health in decision-making transparency, which is to be part of the package 2 for which the Government is preparing to assume responsibility.

The Ministry of Health announced, last month, the doubling of the program from the outpatients of the hospitals, by organizing two laps a day, to perform all the doctors in the sections, by rotation.

Most hospital outpowers currently have a program in the first half of the day.

Also, all the doctors in the hospital, including the heads of the section, will be forced to provide consultations in the ambulatory, said the Minister Rogobete.

“An important problem is the access of people to medical services. I do not refer to emergencies, but to simple investigations that are normally done in the outpatient. A first change is that the program of outpatients will double until 8 in the evening. By this modification the access of people to the basic services in the sanitary units will increase,” declared in July Alexandru Rogobete.
