Italian deputy prime minister and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, emphasized on Saturday the openness of the country to organize a meeting that could accelerate the ending of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Giorgia Meloni reminded that Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty assumes NATO's joint response to an armed attack on any of the allies. The prime minister also added that a potential peace agreement remains a challenge, but it is becoming more and more real, despite the deadlock for several months on the front.
