In Krasnoyarsk, art workshops will start for authors of contemporary art from all over Russia

The Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries, together with the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art (MMOMA), launched the project “Industry. Workshops ”, a creative residence and an educational program for authors of contemporary art from all over Russia.
Participants will gather in the creative cluster “Square” in Krasnoyarsk. Within two months they will work in an experimental creative environment, explore the landscape of the region and study the artistic practice of a walk – a key topic of the project – in order to embody the copyright study into works of art. “Industry. Workshops ”will include not only the format of research and a creative laboratory, but also an educational program.
“The program is aimed at forming artists with self -propagation skills. MOMMA experts will conduct lectures and practical sessions on the subject of the legal aspects of the art market, preparing a portfolio with individual recommendations for each participant, will also lighten the topics of protecting copyright and compliance with legal norms when organizing exhibitions and interaction with curators and galleries, ”the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industry said.
Upon completion of the program, mentor support awaits the participants within one month. They will be consulted on submitting applications to participate in large exhibitions, fairs, for grants and participation in residence, as well as the formation of their career path and development strategy in the Russian art environment.
