The local fire brigade reported that one of the released bulls lost a group of people near the Alcochete River Tag.
Three people attacked by an angry animal fell into the river. One of the two men hit by a bull suffered serious injuries. His condition was determined as very serious. The wounded was transported to the Lisbon hospital of St. Józef.
Traditional festivities with bulls
The event organizers have not yet confirmed the information of CMTV television that on Friday, on the first day of the local holiday, one of the bulls running through the city hurt several people.
In many municipalities of Portugal, especially in the spring and summer season, there are festivals during which races with bulls are organized, as well as fighting with these animals.
