Residents of Norilsk are unhappy with the condition of the old cemetery, which is located near the building of the bus station.

The problem of a graveyard on Nansen Street, where people were buried from the end of the forties of the last century to the end of the sixties, were raised in social networks. One of the subscribers of the Norilsk Today 18+ telegram channel shared his experiences regarding the situation, he accompanied the post with photos. The pictures capture the graves overgrown with grass, rickety monuments, broken wooden and rusty metal fences.

“In this state, the old cemetery near the bus station. Is there really no means to put him in order? If there are no living relatives of the dead, why now let everything rot? If only they were fenced. Just a nightmare, already tears are welling, but there are many military men buried. No respect for the deceased, ”commented on what was happening Norilchanin.

The post caused a stormy discussion on the Internet. Many supported the idea of the improvement of the old graveyard.

“The territory there has long been necessary to put in order. Yes, and Golikovo is needed too, but you see it all – horror, landfill, ”said in the comments a resident of the northern city of Ekaterina.

“So it is necessary to carry out a subbotnik, and not to engage in a showdown. By the way, there is no better matter on the current graveyard, ”said Norilchanin Nikolai.

Materials on the topic

Recall that in Krasnoyarsk, by the end of this year, it is planned to conduct an inventory of all city grades, except for the “Badalyksky”, where it has already been completed. Contractors must create an electronic burial base, enter data from tombstones and grades and grades with geographical binding and photographic materials, as well as data from archival books that need to be digitized.

Such work helps to identify ownerless and unaccounted burials that are not occupied by graves, but suitable for burials. The data obtained during the inventory will rationally plan the territory of cemeteries, identify and take into account the need for additional areas.
