Europe must be in peace negotiations. It is necessary to determine who will present it – Zelensky

On May 17, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky discussed with the President of the European Council António Costa the participation of Europe in the negotiation process regarding peace in Ukraine. The president announced this on Telegram.

“We spoke in detail about the prospects for the negotiation process for the sake of peace for Ukraine and all of Europe. I informed about our recent contacts with various leaders in Europe and with the American side. We equally see that Europe should be in the negotiations. It is important that it has a strong voice and presence in this process, and it is worth determining who will represent Europe,” Zelensky noted.

The parties also discussed the European integration of Ukraine.

“We are ready to open clusters – we have discussed the schedule and necessary communication on this matter,” the president said, thanking Costa and allies for their support.
