Information about the possible violation was provided by the operatives, and the border outfit of the Uzhgorod department found the man.
As the press service writes, seeing the military, the man rushed to the NETECT, ignoring the demands to stop, but the engineering barriers that arranged the border-the man “confused in barbed wire” stood in his way.
“It turned out that the detainee was 24 years old, he was from the Zaporizhzhya region, and recently lived in Uzhgorod. He was preparing in advance: he studied the area and looked for the most convenient route – as it seemed to him,” the statement said.
After the detention, the man was taken to the border unit to clarify all circumstances. For an attempt to illegally cross the border, he faces administrative responsibility.
