Rapper P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, paid a month ago on the charges of sexual trafficking, but convicted of transporting persons to practice prostitution after an intense mediated trial in New York, tries to achieve a presidential pardon from the current leader in the White House, Donald Trump.
“We had contacts and conversations about a pardon,” said the singer's lawyer, Nicole Westmoreland, in an interview with the American CNN, according to AFP and Agerpres.
However, this request is unlikely to be successful, given that Donald Trump rejected any presidential pardon last Friday and described on the hip-hop star as a “very malicious” person in an interview for Newsmax.
The famous rapper and music producer will find out his sentence on October 3. It can reach 10 years in prison for each of the two charges aimed at the transport of persons to practice prostitution, for which Sean Combs, the real name of the artist was convicted.
