The event took place on Friday, August 1 in Opawa. During the afternoon football training, lightning hit a group of teenagers. In total, eight boys suffered and one adult.
One of the teenagers suffered a burn of several parts of the body and a heartbeat. On -site rescue was taken by paramedics. Then the boy was hospitalized in Ostrava. According to the Czech media, the teenager's condition is very serious but stable.
Other training participants were also sent to the hospital. They did not suffer serious injuries.
