“The World Boxing Organization officially ordered negotiations on compulsory title battle between Alexander Usik and Joseph Parker,” the report said.
WBO emphasized that the Usyk and Parker teams have 30 days to agree on a duel, otherwise WBO will “move on to promotional auction.”
“We start the countdown,” the organization noted.
Parker is a 33-year-old boxer from New Zealand. Usiku – 38 years.
Vringe.com explains that the Usika is actually put in front of the dilemma: go out to the battle with the parker or abandon the WBO title.
