A pine -free -worker took money from pensioners for installing windows and disappeared with money. He was detained. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to the department, from August 2024 to January 2025, police officers instituted 6 criminal cases of fraud with significant damage. Law enforcement officers installed an attacker. It turned out to be a previously convicted 43-year-old man.

Sosnovoborets published an announcement in the local newspaper, in which he offered his services for installing plastic windows and balconies. There, the man indicated that pensioners would provide a 20 % discount. He collected 6 applications, made measurements and took an advance payment with the conclusion of the contract. However, after that, the man disappeared with money. Sosnovoborets was not going to carry out installation work. The total damage amounted to 195 thousand rubles.

The man was found and imprisoned. He refuses to plead guilty. A pine tree faces up to 5 years in prison.
