Father Ilie Lăcătușu was dehumated in 1998 and his body is still “alive”, powerless and “beautiful smelling”. He is the only parent, the only Romanian who “is alive”, despite the declaration of his death. Who has whole relics, not like Saint Cuvios Dimitrie the New (Basarabov) from Bucharest or Saint Paraschiva from Iași, who have any hand or a finger.

Anthropologist Ciprian Voicila noted the history of Father Ilie Lăcătușu, but also many healing, exams, relieves of evil spirits, loves of a lifetime, in his book “Life, miracles and Acatist of Father Ilie Lăcătușu”.

Where is the miracle?

Every Sunday over a hundred people are taken by the nephew Mihai Spirache from the tail and initiated on the night of the crypt, where Ilie Lăcătușu's relics are shining.

Mihai Spirache, the nephew of Ilie Lăcătușu, comes as a priest, in black. Spirache celebrates a cult. Says the prayer before the communion: “With fear of God, with love to get closer.”

Mihai Spirache comes out from time to time from the darkness of the crypt. He climbs on a tomb and preaches: “These are the conditions now, do not cram.
