A group of seven tourists were stuck in the Gonachkhir Gorge in Dombai due to a strong forest fire. Thick smoke makes it difficult for rescuers to see. 40 emergency services went to pull people out.
According to Mash, the first reports of smoke in mountainous areas in Karachay-Cherkessia appeared the night before. There is no threat to populated areas.
