The number of deadly victims of the flood, which hit Texas on Friday, increased to 27 – local authorities informed on Saturday. There are at least nine children among the victims. US President Donald Trump emphasized that he and his wife Melania pray for all the families affected by the tragedy.

Trump informed that in connection with the tragic flood in the place, the Minister of National Security Kristi Noem would soon be able to.

“Together with Melania, we pray for all families affected by this terrible tragedy. Our brave rescuers are in place and do what they can do the best. God, bless families and God, bless Texas,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

On Saturday, the authorities in Texas informed that the number of deadly victims of the flood increased to 27. Among them are children who were at Camp Mystic.

The Camp Mystic camp was founded almost a hundred years ago. With the exception of World War II, it took place every summer from 1926. Participants could learn from it, among others archery, canoeing or horse riding.
