“Today we talked about the situation: about Russian air attacks and more broadly – about the situation on the front. President Trump is very well informed, thank you for this attention to Ukraine. We discussed the possibilities of air defense and agreed that we will work on strengthening the protection of our sky. We also agreed to meet our teams,” wrote Zełeski in the Telegram.
He emphasized that he wished Trump and the American nation to the occasion of Independence Day.
“We are grateful in Ukraine for all support given, which allows us to protect human life and our independence. We have done a lot together with America and we support all efforts to stop killing and restoring a normal, lasting and worthy peace. A worthy peace agreement is needed, and Ukraine supports American proposals,” wrote Zełess.
He revealed that among the topics of conversations with Trump were, among others Possibilities of cooperation between the defense industry and the chances of joint production of armament.
“We are ready for direct projects with America and we think that this is extremely needed for safety – especially in the field of drones and related technologies. We discussed mutual purchases and investments. We also exchanged opinions about the diplomatic situation and joint cooperation with America and other partners,” said Zelanski.

“The first air alarms in our cities and regions began almost simultaneously with the appearance in the media of information about a telephone conversation between the president (USA Donald) Trump (the leader of Russia Vladimir) Putin. Russia once again shows that it does not intend to end war and terror,” said Złeski earlier.
