What is the commission that Bolojan talks about
The commission about which Ilie Bolojan spoke, is according to HotNews sources, the Commission for examining foreign direct investments CEISD.
It was established by an emergency ordinance given by the Government in 2022, under the signature of the then prime minister, Nicolae Ciucă and countersigned by a large part of the Executive. One of those who signed it is also in the current Bolojan Government: the current Deputy Prime Minister Marian Neacșu, who at that time was the Secretary General of the Government.
According to the GEO, 12 people are part of it:
- 1. a representative of the prime minister within the Government's work apparatus, who will also have the capacity of chairman of the commission;
- 2. the president of the Competition Council or a member of the Plenum of the Competition Council;
- a representative of the General Secretariat of the Government;
- a representative of the Ministry of Economy;
- a representative of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism;
- a representative of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure;
- a representative of the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization;
- a representative of the Ministry of Finance;
- a representative of the Ministry of National Defense;
- a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- a representative of the Ministry of Health;
- a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The titular and alternate members of the CEISD will be appointed for a 4 -year term, with the possibility of its renewal. The level of representation in the case of the titular members will be at least Secretary of State, and of the supple members at least director.
