Siberians talked about their most useless waste on vacation

According to the VTB*survey, on vacation, the Siberians consider it extra expenses for the purchase of souvenirs (62 %), spontaneous costs for entertainment (49 %), the purchase of unnecessary clothing and accessories (49 %), as well as a visit to overated restaurants (36 %).
Despite impulsive purchases, most respondents still try to control the cost of rest. 76 % of the Siberians admitted that they partially limit spending on entertainment, souvenirs and food.
The main life hacks for saving on vacation a third of Siberia residents called the search for more affordable cafes and restaurants, planning costs before the trip (37 %), as well as the use of discounts on loyalty programs (24 %). When planning a vacation, respondents choose the most suitable cashback categories in advance – (24 %).
46 % of Siberians spend up to 40 % of the vacation budget on entertainment and excursions. However, such expenses do not always bring joy: 80 % of the inhabitants of Siberia were at least once disappointed with the finances spent on entertainment or visiting well -known attractions.
Souvenirs still remain an integral part of vacation expenses: 77 % of the Siberians at least once bought unnecessary souvenirs, and 31 % of respondents are spent on them in almost every trip.
* The survey was conducted on a representative sample among 1,500 Russians aged 18 to 65 in cities with a population of more than 100 thousand people.
