These 4 drinks steal your sleep – that’s what you can’t drink at night

Insomnia is familiar to many – you lie and turn, you want to sleep, but you cannot fall asleep. It turns out that the matter can be in the usual evening drinks – it is they who often prevent the body from relaxing and recovering at night. It seems that a cup of tea at night only helps to fall asleep, but this is not so. In the TG channel “Health-Tarly.ru” (18+), they shared: before going to bed you need to be especially attentive to your diet and named drinks that prevent the body from going into the recovery mode, it is better to exclude them from the evening menu.

  1. Black and green tea They contain more caffeine than it seems: this component stimulates the nervous system and interferes with relaxing, even if you are tired. And as if “soothing” mint tea also stimulates the brain in some.
  2. Hot chocolate and cocoa – Contain caffeine and sugar that excite and cause energy jumps, and can also provoke night heartburn.
  3. Fruit juices (especially orange and pineapple) – they load digestion, cause fermentation and interfere with falling asleep.
  4. Soda, Even without sugar – its bubbles irritate the stomach, and artificial sweeteners can also “wake up” the brain.

That works “excellent”

Chamomile tea, sour -milk drinks with a low sugar content (ayran, kefir), a decoction of lavender, classic warm milk or just warm water with a spoonful of honey – these drinks do not overload digestion and help to fall asleep stronger.

Tip: Try to have dinner no later than 3 hours before bedtime, and drink the last drink 1 hour before the bed. Even such simple changes quickly turn the morning from “broken” into a cheerful.

Important: this information is not a replacement for a doctor’s consultation. The body's reaction to changes in nutrition can depend on individual physiological characteristics, genetic predisposition and health status. Before starting changes in nutrition or it is recommended to consult a dietitian or attending physician to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the selected measures.
