UK “ZhSK” forced to compensate for the damage for the flood in the apartment of the Krasnoyarsk pensioner

The prosecutor's office helped the Krasnoyarsk pensioner recover a debt from the management company for the repair of a flooded apartment.

According to the supervisory authority, in July 2024, during a rain, the apartment of an elderly man was seriously injured during a rain. Since the roof of the house was in poor condition, the walls in its home were covered with droplets, the stretch ceiling swelled, and the wiring became unusable.

LLC UK ZhSK did not consider it necessary to eliminate the consequences of improper control over the state of the roof, and the pensioner went to court. The company was obliged to reimburse the man for the expenses of apartment renovation, examination and legal services, as well as compensate for moral damage and pay the penalty.

However, despite this, a debt of 75 thousand rubles was not paid in a timely manner. After submitting an application to the bailiff service, enforcement proceedings were initiated, but funds remained on the deposit account of the department for more than two months due to the lack of details of the recovery of the recoverer.

The prosecutor’s office intervened, introduced the representation of the main bailiff of the region and the service found the necessary bank details, and the pensioner received the full amount of the debt.
