The appointment of the future prime minister must take into account Romania's urgent problems

I hope that this is how President Nicușor Dan and his advisors approach the issue of appointing the future prime minister. What must the future prime minister solve, with what resources and with what support from the EU. Of course, the money comes from the EC and investors. Without this money, Romania is locked in insolvency.

Here are the main urgent and strictly necessary problems to be solved in Romania
1. Fiscal-budgetary and external debt rebalancing. We are paying enormously for the incompetence of previous governments, 12 billion euros in interest and 30-40 billion euros in loan installments, out of a budget of 120 billion euros this year. The reduction of state operating expenses, including for bankrupt state companies, is essential.
2. Obtaining money from PNRR and the European Cohesion Fund. I saw on the payment request number three from PNRR that CE is not played. He blocked us with 458.7 million euros for not meeting the milestones and agreed targets.
3. Maintaining the confidence of investors and Western institutions in Romania's ability to repay the credits. The alternative would be Romania's entry into the “junk” category and the risk of running out of money for pensions and budget salaries. And trust is preserved only if the reforms and political and economic thinking demonstrated by Bolojan continue.
4. Correct management of money from SAFE, without the involvement of the privileged, the sinecures and the political clientele. The objective would be for Romania to become an important pillar in NATO's eastern flank.
5. Romania's accession to the OECDan important organization of serious states with efficient management of the economy and democracy.
If you ask Grindeanu what are the urgent problems of Romania that need to be solved by the future prime minister, he would tell you something else:
-Economic recovery. How, and especially with what money, when the economy is private, he does not know how to answer.
-Economic support for poor citizens. Very good, but where do you get the money?
– Preserving the current state management structure, through which privileges, sinecures, shameless salaries and pensions, annuities from the budget, contracts with illicit benefits for beneficiaries (mayors and others from the political clientele) are given.
I have seen in the Bolojan government and especially in the ministries led by USR ministers how much is happening behind the heads of the companies and institutions supported by the PSD. A novel can be written with all the discoveries made, a fact that led to the motion of censure in order to continue the PSD-ist smear.
Is President Nicușor Dan aware of all these realities, of the reasons that led PSD to the censure motion? It is enough to read the explanations given by Bolojan in his increasingly frequent appearances on TV and radio stations, to understand what is happening, and why the PSD acted through the motion of censure: to stop Bolojan from continuing to expose the slander that the PSD indulged in. More recently, he also demands the resignation of Bolojan, to stop the PSD activity in the remaining days until the validation of the new government.
What will happen next week
We are waiting for possible new consultations in Cotroceni with the political parties, then the appointment of the prime minister. The society asks Nicușor Dan to appoint Grindeanu as prime minister, to prove that he relies on the majority that overthrew Bolojan and to solve the urgent problems mentioned above. PNL and USR move into the opposition and leave PSD to govern alone, possibly supported by AUR.
The mentioned urgent problems are in contradiction with PSD's governing philosophy. But, unfortunately, without solving them, the money from the EC and investors will stop coming, and the PSD government will be left without money for pensions and salaries, leading Romania to “junk” and unable to pay. Does Grindeanu understand this obvious reality? I would be surprised!
And yet, in order to clarify the population, the voters, PSD supported by AUR must be given the chance to show what it knows, what it can do and what it wants. Let's have a clear picture of the capabilities of the political forces in the year of the 2028 elections. If they are not able, they can be removed by a no-confidence motion and replaced by someone who is able to lead the country properly.
We will see the judgment of the president Nicușor Dan when appointing the future prime minister.
