Israeli cyber attack on Iran. Problems with banking services


“This is what meets institutions that support the dictator's terrorist fantasies,” wrote the Israeli group on the X website, thanking Iranians who helped the attack.

The Gonjeshke Darande group is known for earlier cyber attacks for goals in Iran, including on the gas station network and the steel industry. Although Israel does not officially comment on such actions, these incidents are part of the wider context of cyberonphlict between states.

Meanwhile, the Iranian semi -specific agency Fars confirmed that the customers of the SEPAH bank really have problems with access to services today. It was stated that the effects of the attack may also translate into the functioning of some gas stations that use bank systems to handle payment. The agency pointed out, however, that problems are to be solved within a few hours.

At the same time, a spokesman for the Central Bank of Iran, quoted by the state agency Irna, calms public opinion, claiming that all banking operations in the country are running smoothly, and customers receive undisturbed service.
