The competition does not provide a monetary prize – the winners receive a statuette, and the greatest value for them is the opportunity to gain international fame, which often becomes the beginning of further development of a musical career.

Taking part in Eurovision costs a fortune. Artists don't earn a penny

Although performers do not receive direct remuneration for their performance, participation in Eurovision involves significant costs for public broadcasters. In 2024, Poland had to allocate approximately PLN 220,000. euros only for the participation fee in the competition. Additionally, there are expenses related to preparing the set, designing and making costumes, providing accommodation for the entire delegation, as well as paying the technical and production teams. As a result, the total financial outlays incurred by the country participating in Eurovision amount to several hundred thousand euros.
