The State Duma offered to postpone the extreme date of payment for the services of housing and communal services

In Russia, the extreme date of payment for housing services is shifted. State Duma deputies suggest that this will help Russians avoid fines for untimely payments. The relevant committee has finalized the corresponding bill.
According to the document, it will be possible to pay for housing and communal services until June 15, and not up to 10, as it is now.
“We know that many salaries come to many on the 12th or 15th, therefore it is more convenient to pay for housing and communal services after salary. This will avoid delays in the payment of housing and communal services and, as a result, the accrual of a penalty, ”said Sergey Kolunov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
Kolunov also added that another correction is postponed by the deadline for providing payment documents from “until the first day of the month” to “until the fifth day of the month”. This will give resource supplying organizations and management companies for an additional time in which they can make a more accurate calculation of all accruals and avoid errors.
