Baba Alhassan Joins Mardin 1969 Spor After Departure from FCSB

Baba Alhassan, a 26-year-old central midfielder, has officially joined Mardin 1969 Spor, a newly promoted team in Turkey’s second division. This move comes exactly one month after FCSB announced his departure.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who began representing Uganda internationally last year, has signed a two-year contract with Mardin 1969 Spor.

In a statement, Mardin 1969 Spor expressed confidence in Alhassan’s experience, character, and quality, believing he will play a significant role in achieving the club’s objectives. They welcomed him, wishing him a successful career in the red and blue jersey.

Alhassan spent two and a half seasons with FCSB, where he made 110 appearances, contributing two goals and five assists. His performance was notably better at Hermannstadt, another Romanian team, where he scored 17 goals in 108 matches.
