How did Mosad come to control the Iranian defense from within

Beyond the military operation, the attack of Israel on Iran has been based, says analysts, on a meticulous work of Mosad, his foreign intelligence service, capable of infiltrating the power structures of the Islamic Republic, writes France Presse, according to Agerpres.

History will show whether the “Rising Lion” operation will deprive its ability to equip itself with nuclear weapon, but it will be on the list of major Israeli spy campaigns.

“This shows the operational superiority and in terms of espionage of Israel on Iran,” says Danny Citrinowicz, from the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

In July last year, Iran had already been humiliated by the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of the Palestinian Islamist group. Since then, Iran “has only been able to get the goals in his system,” he appreciates.

The offensive of now, according to the Israeli and American media, has associated drones, introduced in advance in Iran, rockets and fighter jets.

According to the specialized Israeli journalist Barak Ravid, “hundreds of Mosad agents were involved, at the same time, inside Iran and at the headquarters, including a special unit of Iranian operators working for Mosad.”

In the center of the country, commands “had positioned outdoor guided weapon systems near the Iranian soil-air missile launchers.” At the same time, Mosad has “secretly conducted weapon systems and sophisticated technologies hidden in vehicles,” according to him.

This unfolding destroyed the Iranian anti -aircraft defense, opening the path of hunting planes and Israeli rockets, as well as batteries that are likely to target Israel.

“It is over 15 years since Israel follows the nuclear program”

According to the Israeli media, the operation – reminiscent of the recent Ukrainian attack with Drone in Russia – was prepared between eight months and two years. But it was supported on a much older Israeli infiltration.

“It is over 15 years since Israel follows the Iranian nuclear program,” reveals Michael Horowitz, Israeli geopolitician. The blows are “the highlight of the years of collecting information and penetration of the Islamic Republic”.

The list of first-place Iranian victims is prestigious: the chief of the General Staff, the leader of the Guardians of the Revolution and the entire management of his aerospace service, as well as nine nuclear scientists, between others.

“It is quite surgical,” says a source of European security, even if the operation has made collateral victims. “It is an impressive degree of precision and mastery,” he appreciates.

In September, Mosad was struck by the world by attacking the Lebanese Hezbollah with Capacană. According to the Lebanese authorities, the balance sheet then rose to 39 dead and thousands of injured, including many civilians, attracting a wave of convictions.

The list of assassinations with enemies of Israel had for many years formed the reputation of Mosad.

After the operation with Pagere-Capcană, Alain Chouet, the former no. 3 of the French external intelligence services (DGSE), “he was convinced that Israel had six structures capable of acting at any time” in Iran.

He confirmed this on Saturday, arguing that Mosadul can “mobilize many agents in several directions, while Western services are forced to have a planetary coverage.” In fact, “Iranian counter -espionage is a security service, more focused on internal threats,” he explains.

From here, a disastrous Israeli infiltration, of which high Iranian responsible ones have publicly worried and who do not compensate for the periodic executions of those condemned as Israeli agents.

As for the role of the American administration, the faithful ally of Israel, it remains very vague. But it seems real, whether it is a volunteer or not.

Relations between US President and Israeli Prime Minister have recently been described as damaged. Donald Trump has recently reserved a few arrows to Benjamin Netanyahu: the agreement signed behind him with the rebels Houthi in Yemen, direct discussions with the Palestinian Hamas, the golf tournament without going to Tel Aviv, lifting the sanctions against Syria.

On the eve of the operation, Trump had appealed to Israel not to hit Iran, considering that “almost” a nuclear agreement he did not want to see “failing”. In Tehran, as in Washington, the surprise was total, the observers reveals.

Another lesson remains: the modern war emphasizes espionage and clandestine operations.

In order to sting and paralyze his opponent, he analyzes Benjamin Jensen, from the CSIS Think Tank in Washington, the air power must be “associated with special operations to generate simultaneous effects in the depth of the battlefield.”
