Polish taxis more and more “electrified”. Warsaw in the 3rd place in Europe


The platform reported that almost half (47 percent) of all its journeys in Europe in 2024 were implemented by fully or partially electrified taxis.
Fully electric taxis are rare in Poland – although, for example, in London last year 9 percent. All courses on the platform were implemented by such vehicles.
In Poland, however, taxi-hybrid taxis reign. As for the share of “electrified” vehicles (so also hybrids, but also plug-in cars), then They constitute as much as 70 percent in Warsaw. Fleet of cars operated by Freenow. This is the third place among European cities – which our capital took ex aequo with Vienna and Milan.
More electrified taxis than Warsaw have Paris (83 percent of the fleet) and London (78 percent).
In other Polish cities, including in Krakow, Wrocław or Lublin, the percentage of electrified cars for travel is about 50 percent.
“The number of fully electrified taxis on our platform in Poland is about 100 vehicles, but cars partially electrified (hybrid or hybrid plug-in) have become a popular choice among fleet operators cooperating with us.
