“I think that Polish and Poles have the right to know about all that Karol Nawrocki has been hiding so far – because we learn something new every day. And, moreover, I can only expect what will come out after June 2,” said Trzaskowski before the debate began. “Everyone has known me, for years, I have been x-rayed by all PiS services. However, Karol Nawrocki does not really know Polish women and Poles, therefore (…) you have to ask this question: +Who are you +?” he pointed out.
Nawrocki, however, pointed out before the debate that he was not afraid of any question. Asked if he feels stress, he denied. “No, no stress,” he said. One of the next questions of TVN24 journalist said with a statement that “she would give Rafał Trzaskowski a chance”. “He will ask all the questions that the editor asks,” he pointed out.
Co -organized by TVP, TVN24 and Polsat News, the debate is to take about 90 minutes. Its formula does not provide questions from journalists, but is based on asking questions directly by candidates. The discussion is moderated by Jacek Prusinowski journalist. The whole debate will be divided into six thematic blocks. They will be: health, international policy, economy, social policy, security and worldview.
According to TVP, in each round the candidates will ask three questions on the principle: 30 seconds to the question, 90 seconds to answer, 30 seconds to a retort. The order of asking questions was decided by the draw – the thematic block of health will begin with Nawrocki. Then the candidates will start alternating. The time of statements of the candidates will be measured and visible, and its end will signal the sound of the gong.
At the end of the debate, each candidate will have 2 minutes for a free statement. (PAP)
