The army and the Ministry of National Defense explain that this is a “standard procedure” that the Polish army conducts periodically.

Exemption from a military commission applies to persons completely incapable of work, incapable of independent living and those with a moderate or significant degree of disability. This is a narrow group that must meet strictly defined criteria.
Have you been summoned to a military commission? Here's what you need to have with you
As “Rynek Zdrowia” explains, people summoned to the commission must prepare an ID card or passport, medical documentation from the last 12 months, a current photo and a document confirming education or continuation of education.
The commission will determine the health status and assign one of the following military categories: A (fitness for service), B (temporary incapacity), D (peacetime incapacity) or E (permanent incapacity).
Although the entire action of calling for a military commission does not involve immediate conscription into the army, its goal is to prepare the country for possible future challenges.
