Changes in the management board of Tauron. The giant's new vice president will come from JSW
Łukasz Czopik will be the fourth vice-president on the management board of the energy company. The Tauron Management Board will consist of five people, including president Grzegorz Lot and vice-presidents: Michał Orłowski, Krzysztof Surma and Krzysztof Zawadzki. Czopik holds a PhD in technical sciences in the field of risk management and operational security of technical infrastructure awarded by the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He is a graduate of the Catholic University of Lublin, where he obtained a master's degree in law.

Łukasz Czopik is the new vice-president of Tauron
The future vice-president – according to Tauron – also completed numerous postgraduate studies in the field of financial control and audit, accounting and management in public administration, as well as MBA studies organized by the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises Aix-Marseille and the Gdańsk Foundation for Managerial Education.
In the years 2004-2008, Łukasz Czopik worked at the Municipal Office in Jaworzno, among others. as head of the corporate supervision department and head of the corporate supervision office. At the same time, in the period 2005-2009 he was employed at Huta Baildon, where he served as an internal auditor and director of the management office. From 2008 to 2016, he worked at the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, where he served as director general of the office, voivodeship secretary and director of the public procurement and corporate supervision department.
In the years 2013-2019 and 2024-2026 he was the president of the Górnośląskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów in Katowice. From 2019 to 2022, he worked as managing director, vice-president for finance of the GKS Katowice sports club, and in 2022-2024 he served as deputy marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship.

Currently, Czopik is the chairman of the supervisory board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and the Silesian Voivodeship Transformation Fund.
