Such conclusions were drawn by the analysts of Megafon, analyzing the depersonal data of subscribers on the monitoring sites of the concentration of pollen. According to the medical company “SberZdorovye”, the demand for consultation of allergists' doctors increased by 32%this spring.

This helps people prone to allergies, minimize the risks of developing unpleasant symptoms and thereby alleviate the course of the disease. As the analysis of the depersonalized data of MegaFon subscribers showed, this season, two peaks have already shown interest in such resources, which may indicate a double wave of allergies among Russians.

The first happened from 7 to 14 March. It turned out to be 140 % higher than in a similar period of time of 2024. The record during this period became March 10 – on this day, the volume of traffic on specialized resources was 6 times higher than a year earlier. Further, a visit to the resources went on decline following the cold dumbbell in the central and northwestern regions of Russia.

The second peak was observed in the second half of April, with maximum values ​​from April 19 to 23. At this time, user activity was 33 % higher than in the same period of 2024. At the same time, on April 21 it was the most active day for the entire study period – traffic on pollen monitoring sites broke the record in volume.

The study also revealed natural deviations from the general trend associated with geographical and climatic features that affect the seasonality of pollen activity. So in the Krasnoyarsk Territory they were most actively applied to thematic resources from April 24 to 28, as well as from May 1 to 12. Krasnoyarsk residents are not intactly interested in the concentration of pollen in the air, the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo residents are more attentive in this matter.

According to the SberZdorovye medical company, from March to mid-May 2025, the number of telemedicine consultations and notes for full-time admission to allergists increased by 32 % in relation to the same period of 2024. Moreover, the peaks of the records are in April – both in 2024 and in 2025.

The largest number of doctors consultations in 2024 and 2025 had to be at the audience under the age of 18: in the structure of demand last year, it amounted to 32 %, and in the current – 38 %. According to Daria Chernushevich, an allergist-immunologist of the medical company SberZdorovye, this is due to the fact that most often seasonal allergies debut in children or adolescence. However, it can manifest itself for the first time in an adult.
